Kate's Inner Pool

Of the three children my wife and I have been given, Kate, our daughter, is -- by an absolute landslide -- the child most likely to be swimming around in a pool for hours, if not days, lost in a world known only to her, with little regard for parents or friends or meals.

Here now: a few pics of our queen of independent play, snapped upon the occasion of Memorial Day weekend. These captions may or may not represent what may or may not be going on within Kate's Inner Pool.
