Jackson, 8, envisioned and constructed the bracket while Kate, 10, made the picks.

As if its winter dominance wasn't enough, Snow is your 2015 National Champion. Snow's hard-fought victory over Tablets in the title game completed this unusual bracket of assorted match-ups that I found lying on the dining room table.

After blowing out Apples, Donuts suffered (I imagine) a heartbreaking loss in the semifinals to Snow. Meanwhile, in a nod to the early 21st century, Tablets defeated Tea rather easily after emerging from an agonizing one-point win over its mentor, the iPhone. (Kate says Tea refers to iced tea, by the way.)

Early-round games included a surprising upset of the Dallas Cowboys by Tea, the iPhone over Samsung in a snarky affair that featured numerous technical fouls, and the most lopsided contest—School versus No School—in the history of competitive anything.
