For the Win

On November 19th, Camden and the Western Purple Cats lost, 8-6, to Beaverdam in the Seniors Division championship game of the River City Youth Football League. The game was played under the lights on Day Field on the campus of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia.

On 4th & 3, with less than two minutes to play in the fourth quarter, the Purple Cats create a huge hole for the running back. First Down.

On the game's final play, with the Purple Cats trailing 8-6, with the clock showing two seconds remaining, Camden runs a seam route into the end zone.

The pass is just beyond his reach and gets batted away by the Beaverdam safety.
